Hello! Today, I’m finally wrapping up the last part of my Singapore trip story.
This post is about December 17, 2022 — I know it’s super late, but I hope you still enjoy reading it. Thank you!

Once again, a fresh and bright morning greeted us in Singapore.
When I opened the window, the clear blue sky welcomed me, and that alone made the start of my day feel wonderful.
The air was crisp and refreshing too!
With that good energy, I headed off to enjoy breakfast – the perfect fuel to kick-start the day.

Today, I tried one of Singapore’s most famous treats, kaya jam on toast!
The gentle coconut aroma made it taste so comforting and pleasant.
The hotel’s breakfast buffet had such a wide variety of options, and the atmosphere was clean and refreshing – everything felt just right.
It really seemed like they wanted guests to start their day in the best mood possible.
Honestly, I think I’ll definitely come back to The Fullerton if I visit Singapore again.
It was the perfect way to start the day – especially since we had a lot of walking ahead of us!

After coming back to our room, we got ready to check out –
we were flying back to Korea on a night flight that day.
Once everything was packed, we took a final photo on the terrace of our room at The Fullerton, soaking in the last bit of that beautiful view.
The sky on our last day was the prettiest of the whole trip, which made it even harder to leave.
But still, what can you do? Rather than dwell on the sadness, we chose to simply enjoy the present moment.

We checked out of the hotel early and left our luggage there for the day.
While we were in the elevator, we ran into the hotel manager,
and he kindly offered to help with our bags and told us we could go ahead and leave them at the front desk.
He also mentioned that we could use the shower facilities later when we come back to pick up our bags –
such thoughtful and helpful service! Honestly, it was amazing.
And the little tag on our suitcase?
We got that yesterday at Universal Studios!
We didn’t have any luggage tags, so we decided to get matching ones as a couple – cute, right?
So after dropping off our luggage, we headed straight to Fort Canning Park!

The park felt so lush and full of life.
Right from the entrance, it was as if nature’s calmness was welcoming me.

As we walked in, the path gradually sloped downward, and the walls were completely wrapped in thick vines.
It honestly felt like a scene straight out of a movie.
If yesterday felt like an urban adventure, today felt more like exploring nature.
It amazed me how such lush greenery and a bustling city could exist so close to each other –
Singapore’s charm truly stood out to me once again.

This spot seemed to be one of the most famous photo spots –
there was actually a huge line of people waiting to take pictures here.
I originally planned to wait, but even after 20 minutes, the line wasn’t moving much.
So instead, I just quickly took a shot with the background as I passed by.
I’ll definitely come back for a proper photo next time!
Singapore has so much charm that I know I’ll be visiting again someday. 😊(Haha)

This tree is called a Terap tree.
It looked so majestic that I had to take a photo and I later found out it’s actually designated as a Heritage Tree!
The Terap is a native giant tree species from Southeast Asia, and in the past, people used its fibers and sap to make everyday essentials like ropes and traditional clothing.
It carries both cultural heritage and natural beauty, and its impressive size makes it all the more remarkable!

After finishing our tour of Fort Canning, we stopped by the 🌈 Old Hill Street Police Station on our way down to snap a few photos!
This colorful rainbow building used to be an actual police station in the past,
but these days, it’s known as a popular photo spot among tourists.
Since it’s close to Fort Canning Park, I definitely recommend dropping by if you’re in the area.
With the bright blue sky above, it really felt like we had a rainbow right in front of us! 😊
Now that you’ve seen all this, there’s a must-try restaurant just a short 5-minute walk away — Song Fa Bak Kut Teh!
Have you heard of it before?

Song Fa Bak Kut Teh is a Singapore-style pork rib soup.
The broth is rich and flavorful, and the pork ribs are tender and delicious.
It actually reminded me a lot of Korean galbitang, so I can see why many Korean travelers love this place!
On a hot day, it was the perfect dish to recharge my energy.
(Here is Song Fa Bak Kut Teh)
With Fort Canning Park and the colorful Old Hill Street Police Station just around the corner, it’s a great idea to visit all three in one trip!
After having lunch, we headed to Gardens by the Bay!

During my trip in December 2022, there happened to be an Avatar-themed event at Gardens by the Bay!
It seemed to be inspired by the release of Avatar: The Way of Water (Avatar 2) around that time.
I had really enjoyed the first Avatar movie, so I was already planning to watch the second one —and stumbling upon this event was such a pleasant surprise!
What impressed me the most in the movie was the breathtaking natural scenery of the planet Pandora, and seeing it recreated in front of my eyes made it feel almost real.

The cool streams of water felt like they were representing “The Way of Water.”
We immediately thought, “We have to go up to the top!”
There’s a long bridge at the top – like the one in the photo below — that lets visitors enjoy the view from above.

The bridge was surrounded by misty water spray like this – it looked absolutely stunning!
I couldn’t help but wonder… was this also meant to represent The Way of Water?
Or am I just reading too much into it?😆(Haha)
Anyway, we found an elevator going to the top, so we just hopped on!

As soon as we got to the top, we saw a mysterious structure floating on calm water – shaped like a magical flower.
I wasn’t even sure if it was a flower or some kind of mushroom.
It felt like seeing a completely new life form for the first time, It was that mysterious!
As we passed this mystical pond, we looked down below.

Looking down, I really felt how high up we were!
It was higher than I expected, and on the way down, there were interesting things to see on each level.

We even came across a dimly lit room that looked like it was filled with glowing tree vines from Pandora.
There was also a floor with mysterious creatures from Avatar!

After enjoying everything the Avatar-themed event had to offer inside the Cloud Forest, we headed over to Supertree Grove to catch the Garden Rhapsody (light show), It would have been the perfect way to wrap up our Singapore trip.

But…! From late November to late December, you actually need a reservation to watch the Garden Rhapsody during this time of year, so unfortunately, we couldn’t get in. It was such a letdown 😢
Apparently, it’s because of the Christmas Wonderland festival that happens every year during this period. Since the event draws big crowds, entry is restricted unless you have a ticket.
If you’re planning to visit Singapore between late November and December, definitely keep this in mind!
As for me, I’ll just have to come back next time to finally see the Supertree light show. Now I already have two must-dos for my next Singapore trip:
📸 Take a proper photo at the photo spot in Fort Canning Park
🌳 Watch the Supertree light show!

We returned to The Fullerton Hotel to pick up our luggage, and since the manager in the morning had kindly told us we could use the shower facilities, we took the opportunity to freshen up before our flight.
It felt so nice to take a clean shower before flying – and the shower room was spotless and private, which made it even better.
The Fullerton Hotel truly made both the beginning and end of our trip feel special, and it left such a great impression on me.
Feeling refreshed, we headed off to the airport.

After four days of nonstop exploring, my legs were sore and my feet were swollen – but I truly had an amazing time.
Travel isn’t always just about having fun; the tough moments are part of the journey too.
Whatever happens, all we can do is enjoy the moment!

As our trip came to an end, we made one final stop at Singapore Changi Airport – to see the famous indoor waterfall!
It was so much bigger and more awe-inspiring than I imagined, and its unique shape left me completely mesmerized.
As I stood there watching, all the sadness about the trip ending just melted away.
Instead, I started feeling excited again, thinking, “Where should I travel next?”
Honestly, I’d love to come back to Singapore anytime!
To wrap up this final post about my Singapore trip:
1. The route from Fort Canning Park to the Old Hill Street Police Station and then to Song Fa Bak Kut Teh was just perfect.
2. Missing the Supertree light show at Gardens by the Bay was such a bummer — maybe it’s Singapore’s way of telling me to come back again!
3. This whole trip was so much fun, and I definitely want to return someday.
Thank you so much for reading through this long post!
Looking back, the trip felt like it passed by in a flash,
but writing it all down made me realize how full and meaningful each moment truly was.
Even the tired moments felt rewarding and joyful.
I’ll be back with another fun story next time – thank you and see you again soon!
