After enjoying grilled pork spine earlier, we took a walk around Euljiro and decided to stop by a café for dessert.
If you’re curious about the grilled pork spine we had before, feel free to check out the previous post!
Delicious Grilled Pork Spine in Euljiro, Seoul
To start things off, the cafe we visited is called Gonggan-gap(공간갑).
Location
Address: 48-8 Supyo-ro, Euljiro 3-ga, Jung-gu, Seoul Name: Gonggan-gap (공간갑)
The cafe is conveniently located near Euljiro 3-ga Station.
Exit through Exit 11, and you’ll arrive in under five minutes on foot.

The cafe has both a first and second floor and gives off a cozy, welcoming vibe.
While walking around Euljiro, I noticed a line forming outside and thought,
“Is this place that popular?”
Since there was a wait, we decided to explore nearby first.
When we came back and saw the line was gone, we went right in.

There was a sign in front of the entrance explaining how the waiting system works.
Earlier, just like the sign mentioned, about three to four groups were lined up from the sign to the nearby utility pole.

This is the menu at Gonggan-gap.
I ordered a cup of coffee and their pudding bingsu, which immediately caught my eye.
I’m a huge fan of pudding, so I didn’t hesitate at all.
Bingsu is basically Korea’s version of spoonable ice cream.
It’s finely shaved ice with different toppings layered on top.

We took our pudding bingsu and coffee upstairs to the second floor.
I wish I had more photos of the interior, but unfortunately I don’t this time – I’ll be sure to share them in a future post.
If I had to describe it, the café had that vintage yet trendy Euljiro vibe.
The first floor felt cozy, while the second floor had a more hip atmosphere.
It was quite crowded, and there was only one seat left, so we grabbed it.

After walking around for a bit, we quenched our thirst with an iced Americano and satisfied our sweet cravings with the pudding bingsu.
The pudding bingsu was absolutely adorable and beautifully presented.
The sweet caramel sauce added richness, while the sugar crystals sprinkled around gave it a pleasant crunch.
Between the soft shaved ice and the pudding was a yellow, cream-like layer, which turned out to be a house-made custard.
It was incredibly delicious, and the combination of pudding, caramel, and custard worked perfectly together easily the highlight of the dessert.
I took a short video to show how jiggly the pudding is.
Isn’t it satisfying to watch?
It holds its shape at first, then cuts smoothly and softly — that’s the charm of a good pudding.
The flavor was rich, sweet, and exactly my style.
If you love pudding, this is a must-order.
