After eating the Jjamppong Sundubu at Donghwa Garden that I shared in my previous post, I headed out to cool down the spiciness with Gangneung’s famous tofu ice cream – Sundubu gelato.

Location
It’s only about a five-minute walk from Donghwa Garden.
After lunch, it’s the perfect distance for a short walk before enjoying dessert, don’t you think?
I ordered the most popular and best-known flavor, the sundubu gelato.
It costs 4,500 KRW, which is about 3.11 USD.

Taste and First Impressions
The color is so pretty, isn’t it?
It tastes even better when you have it on a hot day or after eating something spicy.
Personally, I think it’s simply delicious.
You can really taste the nutty and soft flavor of sundubu, and the gentle sweetness blends in perfectly.

Honestly, I think it would be totally fine to order two.
It’s so good that before you know it, it’s gone in the blink of an eye, haha.
If you’re traveling to Gangneung, be sure to remember and try the sundubu ice cream.
It’s truly delicious, and it makes a perfect stop after visiting Donghwa Garden.
Wishing you a wonderful and enjoyable trip!
