From Brussels to Seoul : Belgian Fries That Koreans Can’t Resist

Hi there! How’s your day going?
I’m feeling great today because I discovered some seriously delicious food!

Back in May, I went to a baseball game, and before the game started, I wandered around the snack zone.
That’s when I came across a place called “Brussels Fries” (브뤼셀프라이).

The fries looked amazing, so I decided to give them a try.
I also found out that the place is run by a famous Korean YouTuber named Sanghyuk (상해기).
The flavor was something I think Koreans would really love – I could totally see it becoming a trend!

About a month later, I was on a date in Seoul – and guess what? I spotted Brussels Fries again!
Out of curiosity, I looked it up and found out that they actually have several chain stores around the city.
I was really happy to know that this tasty little snack was so easy to find in many parts of Seoul!

Of course, trying new foods is part of the fun when traveling abroad –
but honestly, sometimes when I’m out and about, I just crave something familiar and comforting.

One thing I really liked was that they offer pre-set “best combinations”, but you can also fully customize your fries with whatever you like!

I went with the Best Combination A Set, which included straight-cut fries with chili seasoning, two sauces – chipotle and sour cream – and toppings like guacamole and bacon chips.
The set cost 11,800 won (about 8.7 USD).

The fries were super crispy, and they didn’t hold back on the sauces and toppings — it was absolutely delicious!

Next time, I’d love to try customizing my own combo — and I definitely want to try one of their milkshakes too!

Thanks so much for reading my post today!
